Glitterhouse - Complete Recordings 68-74
Click for large image "Best known as the band featured on the Barbarella soundtrack, and in psych circles for the delicate and surreal "Tinkerbell's Mind (Fading Yellow)" New York's Glitterhouse ( white band fronted by a black-man-that-wrote-sprightly-pop) made some pretty, instant records on the commercial side of the psych-pop spectrum as well as some great trippy psych. This 23-track (80 min) home produced vanity project (compiled and released by organ player Moogy Klingman) features the Bob Crewe produced album spectacular "Colorblind-First Edition ('68)"; the three Glitterhouse tracks from the Barbarella soundtrack; two pre-Glitterhouse singles ('66-'67) by Pop Art and The Dave Heenan Set (super garage/psych with the awesome "Alice In Wonderland"); demos recorded for Crewe; a few home recordings and a '74 re-union cut by Klingman in the studio that he ran with Todd Rundgren. Please note that the sleeve says the album and Barbarella tracks have been re-recorded. If this is the case then they sound spookily 100% identical to the original recordings !

UK 60s Pop Psych Radio - click here
Genesis - From Genesis To Revelation
Click for large image 1969 saw the band release its first album, and on this album you get all the 60's effect's like phasing, sweeping strings, panning etc and is a really good example of psychedelia from the UK (forget what the band became). If you imagine the best and most psyche parts of the Moody Blues,World of Oz, Bee Gees etc you start to get the picture. The great thing as well is that Phil Collins hasn't even joined the band yet! The 2 disc set of this album includes demo tracks and single tracks and over 20 minutes of an interview with the producer, Jonathan King. NOW DELETED, GRAB THIS WHILE YOU CAN.
Soft Sounds For Gentle People - Presents Songs For He & She
Click for large image 22 far-out pop/psych duos from the late .60s.It pretty much began with Sonny and Cher. The success of co-ed pairings like Mimi and Richard and Nino and April had coffee house folkies shacking up in droves and soon every town had it.s own dynamic duo. There were variations too, John Phillips had two chicks so he had to find another Papa. Now hear the ones who didn.t quite crack the radio charts, at least not for long. Lunar Dunes - From Above
Click for large image Brilliant purely instrumental 2007 CD from the ex Treatment and songwriter guitarist. Born out of passionate listening and a shared love of Coltrane, Krautrock, Space rock, rock in general as well as the many and varied eccentricities of English Psychedelia this is a spacey trippy excursion in sound . Housed in a replica mini LP gatefold sleeve with other-worldly artwork From Above is one of the best instrumental psych/space rock albums we have heard for some time. Treatment were easily the most psychedelic UK band of the 1980s and this CD is a welcome addition to their small but perfectly formed legacy.
Fredric - Phases And Faces
Click for large image Storming US '60s psych pop rarity on CD at last with bonus tracks and a band history. Alongside The Baroques, David and C.A. Quintet this is one of the US '60s psych / pop Holy Grails. Beautiful songs and a totally unique psychy pop style (melodic harmonies and swirling keyboards) add up to one hell of an album that is highly recommended to fans of both US '60s psych and harmony pop !
Litter - Distortions
Click for large image One of the finest examples of US sixties psychedelic punk, this first album by The Litter contains a number of fuzzed up feedback drenched cover versions such as "I'm A Man", "Codine" and the Who tracks "Substitute" and "A Legal Matter" as well as awesome originals such as "Action Woman". This album explodes with electric energy similar in many ways to the power of the early MC5 recordings. Remastered and containing bonus tracks this is essential listening. Fully detailed booklet with reversable sleeve.

Below is a random selection from our extensive catalogue!

Langsyne - Langsyne.

Canyon - Empty Rooms.
Click for large imageEvoking the ghosts of Neil Young, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, and Nebraska-era Bruce Springsteen, the five members of Canyon are individuals who were members of emo rock forerunners Boys Life and Farewell Bend together with Slowdime Records founder John Wall. The band uses the standard lineup of acoustic guitar, bass, and drums to construct simple skeletons of country rock ballads adding lap steel, harmonium, horns, and keyboards. Canyon have produced in 2002 an album of lush, spacious arrangements that, while deeply rooted in the balladic side of American rock, have influences across the board..

Dead Meadow - Howls From The Hills.
Click for large imageRemastered version (housed in a fold out digi) of the second album by this great US heavy psych band. Drawing on late '60s and early '70s heavy psych it's loaded with trippy guitar riffs and cosmic vibes. It's not really Stoner Rock, more '60s/70s Acid Groove Rock.Includes a live performance from 2000 on an enhanced element of the disc..
Fall - Live In Los Angeles 1979.
Click for large image Recorded during what may have been The Fall's first visit-aaaah to Americ-aaaaah. Raw and uncompromising- sounds great digitally remastered too. Limited to 2000 copies: previously unreleased, and featuring sleeve artwork by Pascal De Gras. .
Brides Of Destruction - Here Come The Brides.
Click for large imageNow that.s what I call a supergroup: Motley Crue veteran Nikki Sixx; original Guns N.Roses and LA Guns star Tracii Guns; and two of metal.s most promising musicians, vocalist (and lifelong GNR fanatic) London LaGrand, and drummer Scot Coogan. Together they are the Brides Of Destruction, whose spectacular debut not only rekindles the pure spirit of American rock.n.roll but even threatens to put Nikki and Tracii.s back catalogues into the shade..

These twenty one tracks stem from his Giallo film scores, Italian language thrillers from the '60's nad '70's. Such was his fondness for the genre, Morricone ended up scoring more Giallo films than anyone else and defined the sound and atmosphere of the popular films.
