After their commecial success with Moon Safari, Air followed it up with a darker, more experimental effort in 2001. The eleven tracks have the same unhurried look to them, but there is a sense of melancholia and isolation that isn't present on their other work. It is pleasing to see their growth with their arrangements, incorporating a number of acoustic instruments into the electronic mix. Certainly a surprising but welcome development in their sound, it finds the duo upping the ambition stakes in their slacker music. James Falkner and Beck guest on vocals. Includes: "How Does It Make You Feel?", "Wonder Milky Bitch" and "Lucky & Unhappy."
DVD studying Air, their music and their videos, first released in 2000. An hour long revealing documentary by their video director Mike Mills, it also includes the promos for "Sexy Boy", "Kelly Watch The Stars", " Le Soleil est près de moi" and "All I Need." Features original storybards for the videos by Mike Mills. DVD PAL/ English/French language with subtitles/classification: Exempt.
1998, highfully successful debut from the French electronic pop duo. Anyone who watched an advert or bought a compilation album in '98 and '99 should recognise virtually all of these tracks as they have all been used to sell something (as well as the actual album selling bucket loads.) A highly attractive album of retro synths, rich layers of melodies and drum machine percussion with a strong sense of pop about it. Includes: the genius that is "Sexy Boy", "La Femme D'Argent", "Ce Matin La."

Originally an EP release, this has been boosted up to a seven tracks compilation of early, pre Moon Safari Air. It's surprising that most of these tracks were not given a chance on their debut album as this ranks alongside it as an equally sublime slice of French electronic (largely) instumental Pop. Includes: "J'ai Dormi Sous L'Eau", "Californie" and "Casanova 70."
Third album from the popular electronic French duo. After the surprise experimentalism of 10,000 Hz Legend and their pop masterpiece Moon Safari, their third effort finds them mixing the two formulas together to great effect. Includes: "Cherry Blossom Girl", "Cherry Blossom Girl" and "Cherry Blossom Girl."
Soundtrack album for the Sophia coppolla movie of the same title, first released in 2001. Released after Moon Safari, it has a similar feel to it although more in context with a film score. These simple ethereal themes are illuminating and memorable, they will please fans of Moon Safari despite being a very different style of record. Includes: "The Word Hurricane", "Dead Bodies" and " Bathroom Girl."
