Alrune Rod - Sonet Arene 1969-72. Dble CD. (Sonet - 55713-2) Official double CD package featuring both albums by this great Danish psych/prog band who drew from Pink Floyd and Vanilla Fudge. They create a dark brooding trippy blend of guitars keyboards and vocals. One of the first Danish rock bands to sing in Danish and remembered not only for their powerful live performances but also for their lightshow. This is a mindblower of a CD!

Alrune Rod - Spredt For Vinden. CD. (Karma Music - KMCD 1973) The fourth album from 1973 by Denmark's contercultural heroes. Living the communal lifestyle of free living and stoned communion, Alrune Rod made some great psychedelic rock and this album whilst more accessible than the bands earlier recordings still has the edge featuring ringing West Coast styled electric guitar breaks over country influenced acoustic rock numbers. A good album.

Alrune Rod - 4-Vejs. CD. (Karma Music - KMCD 1972) This album from 1974 sees the communal Alrune Rod stripped down to a more commercial four piece band, but still featuring the countryish psychedelic West Coast guitar sound of the earlier albums set against a more melodic song based backing. An album that is very much more in a good time rock and roll vein, with some nice melodic jazzy pop touches.

Alrune Rod - Alrune Rod. LP. (Little Wing - LW 5033) Oficial reissue on 180 gram vinyl of the debut album by Denmarks best Psychedelic progressive, band. Orginally released in 1969 on Sonet, this album is loaded with atmospheric, heavy keyboard and guitar passages interspersed with more laid back moments of vocal introspection. A good 'un....
