Apryl Fool - Apryl Fool. LP. (Breeder Backtrack - SD-375)

Fantastic Japanese psychedelia from 1968 featuring organ, wailing bluesy lead guitar and lots of weird keyboard sounds over a tight rhythm unit. The overall sound is very much in the American garage psych style. Tracks include "Tomorrow's Child", "The Lost Mother Land Parts 1 and 2" and others. The guitarist (Hiro Yanagida) was later involved in Food Brain and Live Life Plus 1.

Apryl Fool - Apryl Fool Plus The Floral Singles. CD. (Shagadelic - SDCD 3)

The overall sound is very much in the American garage psych style. CD comes with four bonus tracks by The Floral (who were basically the same band with a different bassist and drummer). Tracks include "Tomorrow's Child", "The Lost Mother Land Parts 1 and 2" and eleven others. The guitarist (Hiro Yanagida) was later involved in Food Brain and Live Life Plus 1.
