Asia - Anthology. CD. (Inside Out - SPV08548302) Excellent anthology/overview of this great progressive supergroup who featured members of king Crimson (John Wetton), Emerson, Lake & Palmer (Carl Palmer), and Yes (Steve Howe), as well as Geoff Downes from the Buggles. The band could stretch from all out extended prog numbers to out and out pop numbers,what a refreshing change in todays climate!Lavish slipcase with embossed printing.

Asia - Aqua. CD. (Inside Out/SPV - SPV08540992) 'Aqua' proved to be a turning point in the career of this most English of AOR acts: the first album to feature vocalist/bassist John Payne, whose 'glam' attire and vocal style was far cry from that of predecessor John Wetton. The album features 'Who Will Stop The Rain' and 'Lay Down Your Arms', possibly the best known tunes from their 90s period, and a bevy of illustrious guests: founders Carl Palmer and Steve Howe make an appearance or two, alongside supersessionskinsman (is that a word?) Simon Phillips and Saxon bass-plucker Nigel Glockler. Artwork by Rodney Matthews: released in glossy sipcase with four bonus tracks and enhamced booklet.

Asia - Different Worlds. Dble CD + DVD. (Recall Box/Snapper - SBOX018) 2 CDS of live 'Asiatic' (groan) rock from Geoff Downes, John Payne and their ever-evolving musical family. Disc 1 was recorded at the Town and Country Club, aka the Forum, in London in 1992, shortly after their rebirth with 'Aqua' , the first album to feature the Payne- fornted lineup: Disc 2 was recorded at Brucksal Stadthalle in 1997. Steve Howe guests on both gigs. Both discs feature plenty of well-known Asia hits such as 'The Heat Goes On' 'Go' 'Who Will Stop The Rain' 'Military Man' 'Only Time Will Tell' 'Heat Of The Moment' 'Voice Of America' etc, as well as Downes' customary solo run through 'Video Killed The Radio Star'. Disc 3 features an interview with the boys. Packaged in a clambox with an eight page booklet.

Asia - Aria/aqua. Dble CD. (Snapper - SMDCD393) The first supergroup of the 80's following in legendary footsteps of counterparts Blind Faith,ELP,etc.The 2 albums on this excellent 2 on 1 were relased in 1992 and 1994 respectively and featured the cracking guitar playing of Steve Howe, rippling keyboards from Geoff Downes and power drumming from Carl Palmer alongside the vocal acrobatics of John Payne. Prog lives kids!

Asia - Archiva I & II. Dble CD. (Inside Out - SPV08548442) A collection of sought after and rare Asia outtakes and demos, all of which originate from the sessions for the 'Aqua' 'Aria' and 'Arena' albums released in the 1990s. Featuring stalwarts Geoff Downes and John Payne plus a variety of stellar guests and collaborators, there are over 25 tracks in total plus bonus material yet to be confirmed. Remastered with background info, photos and an embossed slipcase.

Asia - Arena (Special Edition). CD. (Inside Out - SPV08548322) Third album from the Payne-fronted Asia lineup, and quite a different beast from anything they had before recorded. Moving away from any prog rock leanings they had left (except on one song, 'The Day Before The War') and into the poppier end of the AOR spectrum ('Heaven') with influences from world music. It still sounds like Asia, Jim, but not as we know it!! Lineup this time is Downes and Payne alongside drummer Michael Sturgis, Steely Dan guitarist/veteran sessioneer Elliott Randall, Simply Red/Stone Roses/Players/Steve Hogarth guitarist Aziz Ibrahim, and Bryan Ferry percussionist Luis Jardim. Remastered with bonus tracks, pix and notes in an embossed slipcase, as well as featuring the usual Rodney Matthews atrwork.

Asia - Aria (Special Edition). CD. (Inside Out - SPV08548312) Reissue of 1994 album from UK melodic rock overlords, the first without Steve Howe and the second to feature 'glammy' vocalist John Payne. For a band so far into their career whose lineup now bore little resemblance to its original, this is a surprisingly strong and confident album and features live favourites 'Sad Situation' and 'Military Man'. The latter is also represented in a live acoustic version, one of three bonus tracks alongside 'Reality' and a multimedia video of 'Anytime'. Remastered with interesting background information and visual, and presented in a slipcase with embossed printing. Lineup: Downes, Payne, Al Pitrelli, Michael Sturgis.

Asia - Definitive Collection. CD. (UM3 - 1705335) This sixteen track collection brings together all of Asia’s hits and key tracks plus the never-before-on-CD 12" remix of 1985’s "Go." Each track has been digitally remastered from the original master tapes and span all four of Asia’s Geffen albums. The package also includes extensive liner notes, archival information and photos. Includes: "Smile Has Left Your Eyes", "Too Late", "Sole Survivor" and "Heat Of The Moment."

Asia - Live In Nottingham. CD. (The Store For Music Ltd - SFMCD068) Recorded live in Nottingham on the 23rd of June, 1990, this was originally released as a pinfully difficult to find promotional CD entitled Now. This is it's debut commercial release, over an hour of material fromthe classic Asia line-up of John Wetton, Geoff Downes and Carl Palmer. The thirteen tracks recorded at the gig have been expanded with three bonus tracks: "Heat of the Moment", "Shadows" and "In the End."

Asia - Different World - Live. Dble CD. (Snapper - SMDCD579) Two separate '90's live shows from the the 80's UK prog rock supergroup. Disc one was recorded a the Town & Country Club in London at the end of their 1992 world tour, promoting the "Aqua" album. Disc two was recorded at The Stadthalle, Brucksal in September 1997. Both gigs feature Geoff Downes, John Payne and Steve Howe. Twenty seven tracks in total.
