On Trial's drummer, Guf, has his own project and this is it! US styled psychedelic garage that sounds like the more melodic song-based On Trial material. Swirling keyboards, effects and fuzztone galore combine with angst filled trippy lyrics to create an authentic '60's US styled acid psych. Comparisons include Love, The Sons Of Adam and various other West Coast garage psych bands. Great cover art too!
Baby Woodrose originated from On Trial the Danish psych band (and how!) This is the band's 2004 tribute to the garage groups from the 60’s & &70's that have influenced them over the years. While at least some of the songs have similar lyrical themes, such as the antisocial proto-punk attitude of "The World Ain’t Round, It’s Square" and "Dropout Boogie" the songs on Dropout! don’t have anything in common other than the fact that the band think they or the people who wrote them have been important influences for them, when writing their own music.Includes Can’t Explain (Love) I Lost You In My Mind (The Painted Faces) Who’s It Gonna Be (The Lollipop Shoppe) I Don’t Ever Wanna Come Down (The 13th Floor Elevators) The World Ain’t Round, It’s Square (The Savages) Dropout Boogie (Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band) I’m Going Home (The Sonics) This Perfect Day (The Saints) Not Right (The Stooges) A Child Of A Few Hours (The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band)

Killer 2003 album from the Danish acid-psych punk outfit related to On Trial. Featuring two guitars, drums and vocals, they manage to recapture the feel of the 60's garage whilst retaining the power of the current hard rock sound. This is easily the best Scandinavian psych garage album since The Nomads "Where the Wolfbane Blooms"
