Barrington Levy - In Dub- Lost Mixes From King Tubby's Studio. CD. (Auraluxx - LUXXCD015) The first dub album to surface from the Barrington Levy sessions was The Big Showdown, released in 1980 by Greensleeves in the UK; The album has rightly been hailed as a classic, seen in retrospect as one of the last great dub albums of all time. What few realise is that Junjo issued a totally different companion album in Jamaica on Jah Guidance, the label he formed with fellow producer Linval Thompson.The original Jamaican dub mixes that appeared on the Jah Guidance album have remained an obscure and long sought after dub rarity, unavailable since its original Jamaican release, until now.

Barrington Levy - Poor Man Style. LP. (Trojan - TRLS209) 1983 album from one of the longest lasting stars of the eighties dancehall reggae scene, Barrington Levy. Tracks include "Don't Give Up", "Sensimelea", "Man Give Up" and many more.

Barrington Levy - Shaolin Temple. CD. (Auraluxx - LUXXCD018) Barrington was the crucial element that made dancehall a viable entity at the end of the 1970s. once Barrington hooked up with political ‘enforcer’ turned record producer, Henry ‘Junjo’ Lawes, dancehall reached international prominence. Material from this first set of sessions yielded classic, adventurous albums such as Bounty Hunter, issued in the USA on the Jah Life label, and Shine Eye Gal, issued in the UK on Burning Sounds; Shaolin Temple, the subject of this reissue, was released in Jamaica on Jah Guidance, the label Junjo formed with friend Linval Thompson, while Robin Hood and Englishman were subsequently released in the UK by Greensleeves. For this edition, we are also pleased to include three bonus tracks originally issued on Jah Guidance 12’s at the same time, all expertly produced by Junjo with the Roots Radics backing Barrington.

Barrington Levy - Englishman. CD. (Greensleeves - GREWCD9) Regarded as one of the most important albums of the late '70's, this brilliant release paved the way for the movement that would be known as Dancehall. Recorded at Channel One & King Tubbys studios, produced by Henry `Junjo’ Lawes and mixed by Scientist & King Jammy, it could hardly get any better could it?The ten tracks have been remastered and expanded with four deejay, 12" and dub versions (by Scorcher and Levy), available for the first time on CD. Comes with an eight page booklet.

Barrington Levy - Robin Hood. CD. (Greensleeves - GREWCD14) Levy’s classic Robin Hood set originally released in 1980 is remastered and expanded. A more diverse album than his previous release Englishman, this has a more polished feel to the production and Levy' s exhuberant vocal tones are much more mellow. Another high class release from the godfather of dancehall. The four additional 12" versions are now available on CD for the very first time.
