Bead Game - Welcome. CD. (Fallout - FOCD2033) Hard rocking yet melodic late 60s psychedelic album from Boston with great interplay between Hendrix style fuzz guitar and heavy keyboards. "Welcome" was produced by Gary Katz, best known for his production work for Steely Dan. Due to Katz Bead Game's drummer Jim Hodder eventually became a founding member of Steely Dan and played on their first three albums (even taking lead vocals on "Midnite Cruiser" and Dan's first ever single "Dallas"). Sadly, he drowned in his swimming pool in 1990, but this is more than a fine testament to his talents.
