'Bevis Through the Looking Glass' was released as an odds'n'sods double vinyl in 1987. Originally a privately released edition of 500, the collection was an overview of the early material from Nick Saloman. Over the years, the album has been lost - the vinyl has been out of print for a decade, and the tracks have been scattered across various Bevis reissue CDs. The time has come for this well-regarded album to be reissued on CD in its entirety. Amidst a set of shorter songs, 'Looking Glass' includes three major lysergic workouts, including the 20-minute epic "The Shrine".
Two cuts from "Any Gas Faster", plus the inclusion of four tracks recorded live in Copenhagen make this one of the most collectable Bevis releases, which only ever came out on vinyl. Live tracks feature a full band including Ron Goodway and Adrian Shaw, as well as Martin Crowley on drums.
After a two year gap the new studio album has arrived 'Hit Squad' is the long awaited follow up to 'What Did For The Dinosaurs', recorded by Frond mainman Nick Saloman on guitar, Adrian Shaw (ex- Hawkwind) on bass, and Jules Fenton (ex-Lightning Seeds) on drums, plus guest appearances from Paul Simmons (Alchemysts) and Roddy Lorimer on trumpet (the legendary sessioneer from The Waterboys 'This Is The Sea'). Resulting in a cracking collection of songs of psychedelic guitar songsmithery, from acoustic songs through to cartwheeling blurry racing guitar epics, that will both delight and amaze.Brilliant cover artwork.
Re-mastered issue of the Bevis classic with 6 extra tracks, extensive liner notes from Nick Saloman and housed in a slip case. This second album from 1987 is full of the (now expected) guitar wizardry and includes the classics "Termination Station Grey" and "Eyes In The Back Of My Head". An acid guitar masterpieceā¦

The legend begins here. US Reckless reissue of the very first Frond album. The original Woronzow release now fetches silly money and after one listen to this it's not hard to see why. Heavy acid guitar to the max, this was a breath of fresh air in the UK Scene when first released in 1987.
CD release of the 1991 double album which features Adrian Shaw, Barry Dransfield and Bari Watts amongst others and includes the all time Bevis classic "Miskatonic Variations II". Considered by many to be the best thing Mr. Frond has released.... A classic album...
Reissue of the classic third Bevis Frond album from 1988.The Bevis Frond's third album finds Nick Saloman again exploring things his way. Some of his brightest, best hooks appear here - every song has a great riff, and Saloman's guitar sears across these lo-fi recordings. The solos jam icicles in your eyeballs. The riffs slam your solar plexus. Roger McGuinn and co. could have happily placed their own stamp on "Lights Are Changing" (later covered by Mary Lou Lord and The Alice Band). Includes six bonus tracks, and features Bevis' Mum on her version of 'Hey Joe'.
Third album from the Walthamstow guitar wizard, this follows on the same heavy psychedelic vein as the previous two releases and is now available again at a bargain price. If you've only recently picked up on Bevis you owe it to yourself to check out these early albums. BARGAIN PRICE.

2002 album from the legendary UK cult guitarist/songwriter. 18 new songs and an uncharacteristically complex production with backing singers and a horn section! This could almost be called a new direction incorporating more pop based themes with the usual powerful guitar work and sharp, witty song writing.
