Preston was a prodigy on organ and piano, he built an enviable reputation as a session musician, even backing the Beatles on their 'Let It Be album'. Captured on this compilation are some of his best pop psyche soul, highlights being "Billy's Bag", " I Am Coming Through", "My Girl", "Lowdown" and "Stop! In the Name of Love"

Billy's Apple album from 1970 includes versions of 'My Sweet Lord', 'I've Got A Feeling' & 'All Things Must Pass'.The remainder of the album is made up of all Preston originals.This album among collectors is often regarded as one of the finest albums he ever made. Apple collectors will also be pleased to know this collection includes 2 bonus tracks one of which "Long As I Got My Baby" has, until now has been shelved in the Apple vaults. 8 page booklet completes the release.

Billy Preston - Wildest Organ In Town / Club Meeting. CD. (EMI - 537 4752)

A 2-on-1 release. "Wildest Organ In Town" was originally released on Capitol in 1966. "Club Meeting" is a live recording that only briefly came out in the US & showcases Billy's great talent for singing & soloing - a must for any Hammond Organ fan
