Absolutely huge psychedelic rarity item from 1969 that is regarded as a major Deram collectable. Portcullis Gate owes a lot to Pink Floyd and extremely rare single is possibly the "des res" of UK psych 7".

Six copies only of the deleted Ltd pressing of this mega rare British psych/prog monster that includes as a bonus the amazing "Portcullis Gate/Halo in My Hair" 7" single. Originally released in 1969 on Deram it sounds really ahead of the progressive game on certain tracks like "Broomstick Ride" whilst "Friday Hill" is a beautiful psychedelic number. This really is a period piece that deserves more attention.Included ex Gun/Please member's the band finally evolved into T2 very soon after the recording of the album.LAST FEW COPIES

Finally here is the official edition of this classic '60's UK psych/prog album from the DECCA master tapes! Originally released in 1969 on Deram this album sounds really ahead of the progressive game on certain tracks like "Broomstick Ride" whilst "Friday Hill" is a beautiful psychedelic number. This really is a late '60's period piece that deserves more attention. The band included future Gun/Please members and finally evolved into T2 very soon after the recording of the album.
