Census Of Hallucinations - Seeing Things. CDR. (Stone Premonitions - SPCD 027)

One of the most prolific of the new English psych bands (2000). This collection features unreleased mixes and outtakes from their first four albums and is both a welcome addition to their output and also a good place to start for the uninitiated.

Census Of Hallucinations - Seventh Heaven. CDR. (Stone Premonitions - SPCD 034)

Groovy 2002 neo-psych from the eclectic UK band. Effective guitar work with subtle synth lines and even children's voices on one song. A fine example of modern technology being treated to a psychedelic vibe, cool !!!

Census Of Hallucinations - Sixth Sense. CDR. (Stone Premonitions - SPCD033)

International underground psychedelia from 2002. This is the real deal. Tripped out music, excellent samples and songs like 'Opening The Trapdoor To Outer Space' is one tripped out number. These space cadets must live on a diet of psychedelics!

Census Of Hallucinations - The Fourth Dimension. CDR. (Stone Premonitions - SPCD 026)

Now we're not so good on judging time, but we reckon this is the fourth album in a year from these undoubtably out-to-lunch bunch of space cadets. Having said that, this is probably the best since their debut - with track titles such as "Carry An Attractive Crystal Door Knob Around With You" and "Jangling Waters Of The Tibetan Incontinent Old Bastard" giving you some idea of the sacred cows under attack here. Fine music and great use of samples make this a psychedelic smorgasbord of delights.

Census Of Hallucinations - The Third Eye. CDR. (Stone Premonitions - SPCD 025)

More inspired psychedelic lunacy from the Stone Premonitions collective. With contributions from Mr Quimby's mainman Hardy, this will blow your mind inside out and back in again on the other side. Excellent stuff indeed.

Census Of Hallucinations - Nine Lives. CD. (Stone Premonitions - SPCD045)

Watchout! Brand new album from one of the most prolific and yet consistently excellent purveyours of neo-psychedelic space rock currently pumping their sounds into the universe. Fantastic, fuzzy and trance-like this, can it be their ninth official album (?!!), is a doozy. From the albums opening ambience this top-notch slab of psychedelia floats and drives through some killer tunes with its head firmly planted in the clouds and its feet on the accelerator(s). Catchy songwriting, inventive melodies and impressive instrumentation make this addition well worth an earful.

Census Of Hallucinations - 5. CDR. (Stone Premonitions - SPCD028)

Yet more groovy neo-psych from the eccentric UK band. Combining excellent musicianship, clever usage of samples and socio-polital commentary, this complements their first four releases perfectly and is a fine example of modern technology moving psychedelic music to a more relevant place in today's culture. In other words - buy it, it's great !!!

Census Of Hallucinations - Census Of Hallucinations. CDR. (Stone Premonitions - SPCD 019)

Some of the best new psychedelic rock we've heard comes from the Stone Premonitions stable and this release is no exception. Loaded as it is with trippy guitars, brain frying modulations, weird samples, etc etc. Great cover of Atomic Rooster's 'Devil's Answer' too. Do your brain a favour..
