Christmas - First And Live. CD. (Alamo - NO #)

Two on one CD of Canada's finest prog/psych band. Includes their ultra rare psych debut album from 1970 - a dreamy and atmospheric record with lovely vocals and understated guitar work suffused with a melancholic lethargy recalling the Velvet Underground's third album and featuring the long trippy "Jungle Fabulous" - plus a live performance from 1971 (originally only on cassette and a very limited LP). The band included ex-Reign Ghost mainman Bob Bryden... 73 mins of music!

Christmas - Heritage. CD. (Unidisc - AGEK-2166)

Wonderful second album by Canada's best '60s / '70s psych rock band. Featuring ex members of Reign Ghost, this is a superb mixture of West coast acid guitar, and melodic hard edged rock with trippy effects and jams! Great album! Features extra tracks too! NB: one of the tracks - "Point Blank" has a censored bleep over the word Goddamn... Why?? We're fucked (beeep) if we know

Christmas - Live At Massey Hall, Sep.23 1971. CD. (Unidisc - AGEK-2168)

As the title suggests, a live album from this superb heavy progressive/psych band, led by Bob Bryden (previously of the Canadian psych legends Reign Ghost). Including the mammoth 18 minute epic "Beyond The Fields We Know", this is a fine recording that sounds as good today as it must have done then. Very rare on vinyl and this is our last copy on CD

Christmas - Christmas. CD. (Timothy's Brain/Pacemaker - PACE-43)

The psychedelic reissue of 2003 - the rarest artifact by this much-beloved Canadian underground band finally sees it's first CD issue! Debut album by Bob Bryden's (Reign Ghost) 'dream band' which was first released on Paragon in 1970 (the same day as the second Reign Ghost album!!) Dreamy and atmospheric, with lovely vocals and understated guitar work suffused with a melancholic lethargy recalling the Velvet Underground's third album; a comparison all the more telling when you hear the ambitious 21 minute instrumental "Jungle Fabulous" which closes the album. A great event for psychedelic fans worldwide!

Christmas - Heritage. LP. (Arkarma - AK 355)

180 gram vinyl pressing of the second album from the Canadian psychedelic rockers, released in 1970. An underground favourite in Europe, this was their last effort, released six months after their self titled debut. Ten track LP, a savage combination of heavy prog, psychedelia and folk rock. Highlights include the ten minute epic "April Mountain", "Rise Up" and the absolutely mammoth thirteen minute "Zephyr Song" .Thick card gatefold sleeve that re-creates the original sleeve exactly.
