Conflict - Turning Rebellion Into Money. CD. (AN - MORTA8)

A unique document of rock and roll history being made. 32 live tracks recorded at London's Brixton Academy 9a testament to how popular the band were at the time) at the infamous 'Gathering Of The 5000' festival, which concluded in a full scale riot, known in punk circles as the 'Battle Of Brixton' and resulted in Conflict being banned from appearing as a live act in the UK. What was particularly memorable about this gig was the presence of Steve Ignorant of Crass, and the 15 Crass songs the bands performed together. Remixed and remastered, this new release is pacakged in a deluxe digipak, contains complete background information, a full lyric booklet and a full photo gallery. They got the title of the album right then. That's because it's a stolen lyric dummy? - Punk Ed.

Conflict - The Ungovernable Force. CD. (Mortar Hate - MORTA3)

Conflict's classic 1986 album, which mixed their already established no holds-barred venomous anarcho punk sound with opera singers, choirs and orchestras in the same way that their stablemates Crass, Flux and Poison Girls had done- but took the production to a level unheard of previously within the genre. This was where Colin Jerwood proved himself to be an adept musician as well as an outspoken social reformer. Political yet anti political, punk as fuck yet fiercely progressive. Contains the Animal Rights anthem 'This Is The ALF' (which the label are still banned from printing the lyrics to on the sleeve!!) 'Mental Mania' 'C.R.A.S.S.' 'A Piss In The Ocean' and several unreleased versions and studio outtakes, as well as two tracks from the long out of print 'Battle Continues' EP. Remastered in a digipack with a full lyric and information book

Second DVD in a series featuring one of the most uncompromising and unpleasant punk bands of all time- Conflict. Conflict would like to let it be known, by the way, that they despise capitalism and all it stands for. . .

Conflict - It's Time To See Who's Who. CD. (Mortar Hate - MORTA1)

The album that kickstarted a dozen rebellions- at least until cosmetic punk and apathy set in. Conflict's debut from 1981, originally released on Crass Records and produced by Pete Wright, made no bones about its intentions (check out 'The Guilt And The Glory' or 'Exploitation'), and still stands up as one of the most incendiary debuts of its time. Now remastered for the first time and repackaged ina deluxe digipack (remember folks, capitalism sucks!!) it has been boosted by bonus tracks from the 'House That Man Built' and 'A Nation Of Animal Lovers' EPs including the charming ballad (only joshing) 'Berkshire Cunt'. Booklet includes full lyrics, info and original artwork and poster covers. True anatchy in the UK from a band who did more than just sing about it.

Conflict - Increase The Pressure. CD. (Mortar Hate - MORTA2)

The first band to leave the Crass Records camp and go it alone- and here are the fruits of their labours. This , their second album, was the one that launched a million anarchist slogans, conservationist campaigns and hunt sabs everywhere- and included some damn fine songs too. 'One Nation Under A Bomb' 'Punk Innit' 'Law And Order' and several others speak openly of subjects other bands shied away from, and voclaist Colin Jerwood's lyrics are fiercely passionate. It's a shame most of the fans spent their time getting pissed on cider and starting fights, as there reallly were messages here that could have helped people. Still, we have the music- and if the album isn't enough, then we have the aptly named 'This Is Not Enough' and 'The Serenade Is Dead' Eps as bonus items. Grab it while you can.

Conflict - Against All Odds. CD. (Mortar Hate - MORTA12)

The addition of Steve Ignorant from Crass as a Conflict member increased attention and activity. This album was recorded unintentionally at the same session as 'The Final Conflict' album (MortA11), straight off the top of the head. The recordings received mass radio airplay and one track - 'A War of Words' - remixed with a hardhouse beat, became a major floor filler throughout London's clubland.Recorded at The Enid's studio - 'The Lodge' in Suffolk in August 1988 and originally released in January 1999. Artwork by Richard Allen Turner. Digitally remastered from source material in 2006, this deluxe digipack contains unreleased artwork and a full lyric and information booklet and photographs from the relevant period.
