The band brew together a heady mix of magical psychedelic riffs, spaced out synth patterns and trippy acid rock. Daevid's lyrics continue to question the meaning of life the cosmos and everything. Of course this is a must for all spaceheads and Gong fans everywhere.

Daevid Allen's University Of Errors - Live In Chicago. CD. (Bananamoon Obscura - BMOVP005CD) After the collapse of the legendary Planet Gong, Daevid Allen was in need of a new band to play gigs in America; an all night jam session with Pat Thomas and Michael Clare supplied the genus that was to create just that: and on the twenty-third day Allen created "University of Errors".., he smiled and it was good. For those who only know Mr. Allen from his tenure in Soft Machine and Gong (shame on you!) this CD presents what followed. In his natural environment, leaping around the stage, Mr. Allen presents his freakshow spacerock complete with his legendary improvisational guitar work. Largely taken from one of the best gigs on the 2000 tour (although 4 tracks are from a gig at the Knitting Factory in NYC) the album forms the fifth part of the Bananamoon Obscura Collection and has, of course, been fully remastered, is limited to 1000 numbered copies and features Daevid Allen's beautiful cover art.

Daevid Allen's University Of Errors - Money Doesn't Make It. CD. (Inner Space - 7707) Old hippies never die, they just roll up! After over thirty years in the business Mr. Allen is still making cutting edge experimental music with an anarchic edge. This 1998 effort recorded in the US continues in the same vein, updating but still complementing previous releases.
