His work has absorbed the spirits of Leonard Cohen, Nico, Donovan, Robyn Hitchcock, Peter Hammill, Syd Barrett, Nick Drake, Roy Harper, Michael Chapman, Kevin Ayers and others, but the echoes in the soul and psyche of his work creates his very own. Much of the imagery deals with loss, desolate streets and a retrospection drenched in watery images.
