Dark - The Best Of The Dark. CD. (Captain Oi! - AHOY CD 40) Not the 70s prog band, but an altogether different proposition. The Dark were formed in 1978 in Islington, North London and were one of the first bands signed to Fresh Records. This compilation gathers together the A and B sides of each of their five singles plus the whole of their debut album "Chemical Warfare". Highlights include "My Friends", "Hawaii Five-O", "Einstein's Brain", "On The Wires" and "The Masque".

Dark - Teenage Angst. CD. (Kissing Spell - KSCD 9402) Unreleased material by this UK early '70s killer acid progressive band.The first 5 tracks were recorded in 1971 just before their legendary LP and as the band entered their peak period. Tracks 6-11 were from the original line up in 1969 and 70 at SIS studios and demand dictates their release. Loads of killer guitar freakouts throughout.

Dark - Jam 1975. CD. (Kissing Spell - KSCD 901) Legendary hard progressive rock trio Dark present a 24 minute studio jam from 1975, which literally bristles with spiky fuzzed out guitar fest. Limited edition CD reissue of the long deleted vinyl.We have managed to obtain a few more at last!

Dark - Round The Edges. CD. (Kissing Spell - KSCD906) Perhaps the most famous private pressing ever, made by a UK band from 1971. Originals sell for around £2,000. The music is superb a bit like T2 / May Blitz with that early '70s progressive acid guitar sound and strong vocal material. Includes bonus tracks and improved packaging.

Dark - Round The Edges. LP. (Akarma - AK 007) Timely reissue by Akarma of what has been claimed to be the UK's most expensively collectable album, this 1972 effort is an excellent piece of heavy and melodic progressive rock with plenty of killer fuzz guitar in evidence - a bit like T2 / May Blitz. Housed in original and beautiful thick card, full colour, gatefold sleeve with lyric booklet. Magic.
