(Giant Step Records - GSCR 024) Whereas, it was then common practice for white artists to cover black R&B hits for mainstream chart consumption at the sstart of the 50's, Dinah Washington regularly reversed the situation. Long before Ray Charles got on the case, Dinah was covering C&W hits by the likes of Hank Williams (Cold Cold Heart).
