Eddie Boyd - 7936 South Rhodes. CD. (B.G.O. Records - BGOCD195)

Was it the name of the street he lived in or the piano he played? I guess we'll never know. . .Legendary album from 1968 where the 100 percent real deal, plantation-born US piano pounder (and creator of the sound of a dozen of the finest blues 'n' soul records) got together with three young chaps called Green, McVie and Fleetwood- in other words, the original Fleetwood Mac, for Mike Vernon's Blue Horizon label. Hard to find until this reissue hit the streets!!
