Humble Pie - Home And Away. Dble CD. (Label: Atom Music, Cat.No: ATOM2006) Humble Pie were effectively the earliest 'supergroup' formed. Made up made up of Steve Marriot, Peter Frampton, Greg Ridley and Jerry Shirley the group embarked on a hectic schedule. After leaving The Small Faces Marriot got together with Frampton and the rest is history so to speak. 22 tours and six years later the band called it a day, but not before they had carved themselves a niche in history. This double CD comprises of their first two albums in their original running order plus a selection of other tracks.	Graham Bond Organization - I Met The Blues At Klook's Kleek. CD. (Label: Music Avenue, Cat.No: 250175) Graham Bond’s importance as a key figure in the development of Rock music is annotated at length in numerous books. But there can be no substitute for hearing his legendary Organization for yourself! The stunning power of the band, compared to other groups of the time, is in aural evidence on this album. Whether or not you are a fan of early British R & B, to truly understand the roots of modern Rock, and hear why the Graham Bond Organization were so highly regarded at the time, this recording is a must have, an electrifying document of a sexy time when R&B, and Blues happily flirted with Jazz.

(Label: take five, Cat.No: TAKE 35003) Late 60's swinging/jazzy band, here with reissue on CD of album from 1971, Irresistable late '60s style psychedelic funk, with tough pounding beats, super heavy bass and greasy Hammond.	Eddie Boyd - Complete Blue Horizon Sessions. CD. (Label: Blue Horizon, Cat.No: 82876769682) Born in Mississippi in 1914, the Blues pianist Eddie Boyd grew up surrounded by musical influencesduring his early childhood days, including his ownfather who was a blues guitarist and his school friend McKinley Morganfield, a.k.a ‘Muddy Waters’ whowould later record a cover version of one of Eddie’s songs ! Eddie experimented with various instruments during his early teens, influenced notably by Roosevelt Sykes and Leroy Carr, he eventually found the keys of the piano to be where his talents really shone.This collection includes 18 re-mastered tracks from histime with the label, including two which werepreviously unreleased.
Glenn Branca - Symphonies No. 8 & 10. CD. (Label: Blast First, Cat.No: BFFP106CD) Creating pieces of music with sometimes hundreds of electric guitars Glenn Branca, (one of the leading figures in contemporary the avant garde) has created some of the most obscure classical like types of music in this century. This CD comprises of mostly guitar noise created by numerous layers of guitars to create the effect of a string section in an orchestra. Intensely beautiful and incredible, this is challenging stuff. CD seperated into four movements: "The passion", "Spiritual Anarchy", The Mysteries" and "The Horror."	Pete Townshend - All The Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes. CD. (Label: SPV / Yellow, Cat.No: SPV97682) 1982 solo album remastered from the original master tapes and presented in a Digi pack with bonus tracks and new liner notes. A surprising effort from Townshend, heavily indebted to the recent New Wave movement featuring synthesizers, drum machines and angular song structures. As always it is heavily autobiographical/analytical in places and high concept/Art in others. Three bonus tracks: "Vivienne", "Man Watching" and "Dance It Away" add to the original eleven.
Pete Townshend - Another Scoop. CD. (Label: SPV / Yellow, Cat.No: SPV97712) Second album of Who/solo demos and alternative versions from Townshend's private collection. You will find well known songs in their original raw form and more rare numbers for your listening appreciation. Originally released in '87, it has been remastered from the original master tapes and presented in a Digi pack with new liner notes. Twenty seven tracks including: "Pinball Wizard", "Pictures Of Lily", "The Ferryman" and "Substitute," Definitely one for the completists.	Pete Townshend - White City. CD. (Label: SPV / Yellow, Cat.No: SPV97692) 1985 nine track solo album remastered from the original master tapes and presented in a Digi pack with bonus tracks and new liner notes. Folowing on from the experimental Chinese Eyes album, this is a more traditional Townshend effort. Includes some superb individual songs that rank amongst his very best solo efforts, it is a concept album charting a feelling of despair and insecruity in the modern urban landscape. Clearly a subject close to his heart, this is a highly emotive and cerebral album, reflecting on lost opportunities and no hope, no win situations. Recommended. Bonus tracks: "Save It For Later", "Night School" and "Hiding Out (12" Mix)"
Pete Townshend - Deep End - Live. CD. (Label: SPV / Yellow, Cat.No: SPV97702) 1985 live album recorded at Brixton Academy. Remastered from the original master tapes and presented in a Digi pack with bonus tracks and new liner notes. A great, stripped down version of solo and Who hits and the odd cover version performed in front of an enthusiastic audience. Highlights include the solo (apart from the audience supplying vocals) "Pinball Wizard", the comparitively bare arrangements of "Behind Blue Eyes" and the bonus tracks "Magic Bus/Won't Get Fooled Again."	Pete Townshend - Iron Man. CD. (Label: SPV / Yellow, Cat.No: SPV97722) Based around the Ted Hughes story of the same name, this is the score for what would eventualy be a musical. Released in '89, it features two guest performances from the Who, Nina Simone and John Lee Hooker. This was the Who's first recording for seven years. This version is remastered from the original master tapes, contains three bonus tracks and is presented in a Digi Pack. Booklet contains new liner notes. Bonus tracks: "A Friend Is A Friend (live)", "All Shall Be Well (live)" and I Eat Heavy Metal (demo).
