Electric Prunes - Underground. LP. (Reprise Records - RS 6262)

Official 180 gram reissue of The Prunes second album, also from 1967 and their masterpiece. A dozen tripped out chunks of acid garage rock which perfectly capture the changing moods of the time, with gems such as the Elevator's like "Long Days Flight" and "The Great Banana Hoax". Definitely a Top Ten US garage psych album. Taken from the analogue master tapes too ! .

Electric Prunes - Mass In F Minor. LP. (Reprise Records - REPRISE 6275)

The Prunes were teamed up with David Axelrod(and the Collectors) for this Psychedelic Mass which is easily the best Christian psych album ever made. Gothic and Medieval melody lines are soaked in fuzz guitars and Mr. Axelrod provides suitably epic orchestral backing. Beautiful exact 180 gram issue.

A great from the US psychedelic garage punk gods that not only features classic tracks but also from their first two albums and a whole bunch of previously unreleased takes, rehearsals, radio commercials, singles etc. We often do say "Essential," but this certainly is. This updated version is ltd to 800 copies for the European tour of 2002 and has 'Rewired Tour Europe 2002' on the artwork, contains the same tracklisting.

New material that blazes a fuzztoned trail from the first cut "Lost Dreams". Psyched out fury funk and after their hiatus they have not lost ant imagination or power. Guests include former Moby Grape guitarist Peter Lewis. Few bands could re-form after all these years and come up with an album this good.
