(Schneeball Indigo - IND85362) Beautiful double CD that has disc 1 recorded in Istanbul and disc 2 in Casablanca housed in lavish fold out digi package and a 30 page booklet.Different than other world musicians Embryo's mainman Christian Burchard always looked to traditional music and now he really has seemed to find it by creating these wonderful discs.Recorded in 1998 and using musicians from each of the places the albums were recorded this makes for a wonderful slant on kraut rock.

Embryo - Steig Aus. CD. (Brain - SPV49472) Official re-issue of this album originally recorded in 1972,which is another fabulous release by this extraordinary German band. Music that encapsulates and crosses a number of categories which could be described as psychedelic space-rock-jazz-fusion, but we'd rather just call it 'stunning!' An essential Kraut rock release.Now housed in a digi pack re-creating the original artwork and detailed booklet.

Embryo - Rocksession. CD. (Repertoire Records - PMS 7077) Many regard this as Embryo's finest hour. An excellent spaced-out space rock jazz fusion album from the famous German band. First released in 1973 this is four long tracks of guitar and keyboard and percussion interplay loaded with ethnic influences and hard edged improvisation. Quality stuff...

Embryo - Live. LP. (April - 0003) Recorded in 1976, this saw Embryo's second release on their own April label and showed their sound gradually changing to a more jazzy Eastern influenced style, although still with those Kraut rhythms not far away.

Embryo - Father Son Holy Ghost. CD. Reissue of the third album by German legends Embryo, originally released in 1972. A cool set of trippy jazzy rock with plenty of keyboard led jams this is one of the bands more commercial releases yet it does not sacrifice the experimentation that made the band so admired. Great Kraut rock by one of the top 10 German bands of the 70's.

(Garden Of Delights - CD 084) Recorded in 1971 around the time of their second album 'Embryo's Rache' this killer live album contains some startling Kraut rock with electric violin, guitar flute and percussion. Magical psychedelic instrumental jams mixing elements of prog, psych and jazz in a style similar to Amon Düül II all in great sound quality. One track clocks in at 26 minutes! A real find !

This album showcases the bands jazzier side as they launch into some tight melodic jams led mainly by Dieter Miekautsch's keyboards. If you like Brainstorm, Ms Beastly and similar German bands this is for you.

Magical psychedelic instrumental jams chock full of exotic instrumentation. Ace packaging too....
