Escalators - Moving Staircases. CD. (Big Beat - CDHP 017)

The Escalators were formed by two ex-members of the Meteors, Nigel Lewis and Mark Robertson. They were augmented by Bart Coles on bass and extra vocals, and Woodie, another ex-Meteor. Before becoming The Tall Boys, they recorded this album in 1983 and two non album singles. Released in a cardboard facsimile of the LP sleeve. Thirteen garage track, including: "Cut Up", "Slumberland", "Sloane Rainers" and "Video Club."

Escalators - Live At Le Havre 1983. CD. (Anagram Records - CDMPSYCHO 53)

Formed by influential singer songwriter Nigel Lewis after leaving The Meteors, the Escalators are much in demand. This sixteen track album features the group performing tracks live that have never been recorded or released officially. This is a must for all collectors of the group and psychobilly lovers alike. Includes: "Cut Up", "Video Club", "Survivalists" and "Time For A Change."
