Far Cry - Far Cry. LP. (Vanguard/Comet - VSD 6510) Obscure Boston psych album on the Vanguard label officially reissued for the first time. A weird mixture of acid rock with wild Beefheart like vocals and ripping acid guitar solos. There's a blues influence in there (a bit like the early Dead) and a smattering of jazz but the overall feel is certainly West Coast in style and execution. Worth checking out.…
