Fifty Foot Hose - Live...and Unreleased. CD.

Years later and the '60s San Francisco psych band 50ft Hose get together again for a one off live performance in SF. The result is amazing. It's as if the band never split up.... killer West Coast acid rock with primitive electronic effects, female vocals etc. etc. This lot were like Jefferson Airplane meets Hawkwind and they still lift into the air with ease. Amazing!

Exact repro in American-type paste-on sleeve and includes the elusive insert of this electronic psychedelic masterpiece from 1967 by this Californian outfit, pioneer of electronic music along with Silver Apples, White Noise or The United States Of America. Plenty of electronic gimmicks (oscilator circuits, audio generators, echodette, a.o.) it has since influenced many of today's avant-garde bands and stands close to the Apples albums in the Olympus of the Gods of Electronica, although Fifty Food Hose still retained a strong West Coast psychedelia background. .
