Firebirds - Light My Fire. CD. (Radioactive - RRCD003) An intriguing album that was released on the Crown label in 1969 and is full of over the top heavy psyche blues rock but an unknown band that owes much to Hendrix, Iron Butterfly and early Blue Cheer.The albums kicks off with a great instrumental version of "Light My Fire" and then has a loose, re-occurring fire-related theme running through the album on tracks like "Warm Up" and "Gypsy Fire".Now a sadly deleted Radioactive title.LAST FOUR COPIES.
