Artist Listing : Freak Out Total (1 products)

Freak Out Total - Various Artists - 1968-1973. CD. (Mucho Gusto - MGCD005)

Here is a disc of delights for lovers of the righteously weird. If you love the wacky '60's sound of Pierre Henry's Psyche Rock and other seriously off the wall and on the edge pop music, then this compilation of crazy French language '60's and early '70's electronic pop/ psych/ rock is right up your avenue! Collected by legendary record collector Satan Bélanger, this CD features artists from Canada (Quebec), France and Belgium. Loaded with over the top effects, weird primitive electronics, fuzz guitars, screams and swirling melodies this is certainly one of the oddest collections of music we have ever sold! If the likes of the heavy psych-rock fuzz ripper "Zeppelin Party" by Quo Vardis, the creepy electronic phased, garage number "Dans La Galaxie" by Bruno Leys, the sub-Hendrix instrumental "S.T.P.#1" by Les Sound Track plus of course the awesome American Indian Sitar infused chant "Ani-Kuni" by Madeline Chartrand turn you on, then look no further. When you play this compilation at a party you won't be able to hear it due to shouts of "Who the hell is this?"
