Born out of passionate listening and a shared love of Coltrane, Krautrock, Space rock, rock in general as well as the many and varied eccentricities of English Psychedelia this is a spacey trippy excursion in sound . Housed in a replica mini LP gatefold sleeve with other-worldly artwork From Above is one of the best instrumental psych/space rock albums we have heard for some time. Treatment were easily the most psychedelic UK band of the 1980s and this CD is a welcome addition to their small but perfectly formed legacy.
Robyn Hitchcock - I Often Dream Of Trains. CD. (Label: Yep Rock, Cat.No: YEP2612) This 1984 album expands upon the introspective leanings of 1981's Black Snake Diamond Role while further developing his signature lyrical imagery and spare, ominous melodies on this mostly acoustic album. Here Robyn's sharp humour sits comfortably alongside some of his most intimate ballads. Bonus tracks: "Chant/Aether", "Heart Full Of Leaves", "I Often Dream Of Trains (demo)" ," Not Even A Nurse", "Slow Chant/That's Fantastic Mother Church" and "Traveller's."	Robyn Hitchcock - Black Snake Diamond Role. CD. (Label: Yep Rock, Cat.No: YEP2611) Hitchcock's first solo release, Black Snake Diamond Role was recorded during the final days of his influential post-punk combo the Soft Boys (it even features the other three members of the group: Boys Kimberly Rew, Matthew Seligman and Morris Windsor). Originally released in 1981, this star studded release also features the Vibrators guitarist Knox, Psychedelic Furs drummer Vince Ely and soon-to-be synth-pop star Thomas Dolby. The original ten track album has been expanded with eight bonus cuts (alternative versions and demos from the same session).
