Guess Who - This Time Long Ago. Dble CD. (Friday Music - 82942120042)

Superb double set of rare recordings made by the legendary Canadian band that produced their own style of heavy harmony based psyche rock. All these recordings were made during the bands prime mid to late '60' period and you even get two great and previously unreleased pop psych tracks recorded in London in 1967. Put together by Randy Bachman from his own archives this is a labour of love and is comprised entirely of rarities and unreleased tracks together with a 16 page booklet filled with rare photos.

Guess Who - Share The Land. CD. (Buddha - 74465 99762 2)

This 1970 album from Canada's Guess Who was the first following Randy Bachman's departure and the follow up to American Woman. A great mix of heavy psychy rock, blues, and country including "Share The Land", the brilliant dig-at-the-day-job "Bus Rider" and two bonus tracks featuring Bachman on guitar just before he left. Excellent album remastered with sleeve notes...

Guess Who - Shakin' All Over!. CD. (Sundazed - SC 11113)

In the late '60's The Guess Who went on to be one of the biggest bands in America with the hit "American Woman". Before they found fame and fortune they were one of Canada's most popular groups ripping it up with a ferocious blend of heavy garage punk and R'n'B. This CD features 24 tracks from 1963-1967 all of which are intense seismic slices of '60's Canadian garage rock. Well worth investigating.

1972 concert album by one of the great 60s/70s live acts. Beautifully remastered for CD release with six bonus tracks, this is now 75 minutes of killer material including a seventeen minute version of "American Woman" together with all the hits. Definitive Guess Who.

Two CD live set from the legendary Canadian band recorded on their 2000 reunion tour of Canada. Includes all the classics - "Those Eyes", "Laughing" "Share the Land" "No Sugar Tonight" and a thirteen minute version of "American Woman" - as well as a few Bachman Turner Overdrive tunes such as 'Let It Ride'. Nearly two hours of music...not to be missed!

Guess Who - American Woman. CD. (Buddha - 74465 99734 2)

In 1970 Canadian band The Guess Who released this, their breakthrough album. It's a superb melodic heavy psychy rock release fronted by the bands trademark harmony vocals and featuring the title track (later covered by Lenny Kravitz). Now remastered with a previously unreleased bonus recordings and extensive liner notes (by band leader Burton Cummings) this is an essential album for anyone who likes late '60's or early '70's US/Canadian heavy rock.

Guess Who - Canned Wheat. CD. (Buddha - 74465 99763 2)

Third brilliant album from Canada's Guess Who dates from 1969 and is easily their most psychedelic release. The band perfectly blended heavy acid rock with multi-part vocal harmonies and catchy melodies. The album includes many of their most famous songs such as "Laughing" and "Undun" and there are also some lesser known gems such as "6 A.M. Or Nearer" "Minstrel Boy" the fabulous "Of A Dropping Pin" and acid pop-rock classic "Key" . With two bonus tracks on the CD, this is an essential 60s rock album. Buy!
