The highly collectable and weird album from 1967 by Hal Blaine has become a cult item amongst fans of "exploitation psych" (Unfolding, Freak Scene, Deep etc) It's a wild trip of percussion with electronic effects and assorted groovy madness. Hal was the drummers drummer and can be heard on the Phil Spector 'Wall Of Sound' with The Ronettes and The Crystals, on The Mamas And Papas, The Beach Boys,Love, even on Frank’s 'Strangers In The Night'. Whenever a session called for the very best skin man, Hal was that man! Somehow, during his dashing from one studio to the next, he managed to produce and cut these 12 sides framed around the months of the year but gave them titles like , "Hallucinations", "Flower Society", "Trippin’ Out","Tune In" "Vibrations" etc. Utilising every percussion instrument known (and even a few unknown) to man! Unavailable since 1967, now with fabulous new artwork and superb liner notes.
