I Numi - Alpha Ralpha Boulevard. CD. (Akarma - AK 1032) Very obscure and great King Crimson-esque progressive rock group from Italy who recorded this album in 1971. The short lived group performed songs written by singer and composer Guido Bolzoni and the group gave a psychedelic treatment to these intricate songs with Hendrix like guitar work loaded with fuzz and wha-wah. The keyboard work ranged from jazz tinged organ and piano to baroque harpsichord and is often compared to the Zombies Odyssey and Oracle and Procol Harum's "A Salty Dog". Original artwork, a mini gatefold LP styled card sleeve plus lyric insert.
