As ever these folk pioneers are gloriously simple and straightforward in their approach, making their music sound as fresh as it did then. Deservedly one of the most popular acts on the US Folk scene. First released in 1968, at the same time when many rock artists would often travel to Nashville to record, you can hear evidence of people like Neil Young listening in and taking note. Eleven tracks, including: "Ballad Of The Ugly Man", Dylan's "The Mighty Quinn", "House Of Cards" and "Farewell To The North.

Ian & Sylvia - Lovin Sound / Full Circle. CD. (Collectors Choice - CCM762) Interesting two fer which highlight their move from acoustic to electric folk rock and country rock. Boasting contributions by David Rea (Gordon Lightfoot), Nashville legends Kenneth Buttrey, Bill Pursell, Wleodn Myrick and Norman Puttnam. The producer of the two albums (Elliot Mazer) would go on to sit behind the desk of Neil Young's Harvest, it doesn't get much better than that in the late '60's.
