Iggy Pop - Zombie Birdhouse. LP. (Get Back - GET126)

180 gram vinyl re-issue of this 1982’s album which saw Iggy being produced by Chris Stein of Blondie fame, revitalized the career of a true stage animal who had been on the verge of losing his knack and who, despite some lack of focus in this new path, reconciled with his fans with this genuine punk-new wave record. This reissue also includes "Pain and Suffering", a bonus track from the recording sessions which was not used in the original album but is known for being part of the Canadian fantasy feature Rock And Rule together with tracks by Blondie and Lou Reed.

Iggy Pop - Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell - Live. LP. (Get Back - GET127)

Recorded live on October 28, 1982 in Toronto during the Zombie Birdhouse Tour, this album reports about the good form Iggy was in at this moment of his career. Still recovering from a polishing treatment by Arista, Iggy performs strongly enough to sweep away all doubts about his hard rock reputation that Zombie Birdhouse might have left in his fans’ ears. The bootleg sound quality does not prevent an enjoyable listen and actually confirms the band and its frontman’s verve.

Iggy Pop - American Caesar. CD. (Virgin Records - CDVUS64)

1993 album from the Pop. This was a bit of a surprise for long term Iggy fans as it came hot on the heals of the carefully planned Brick by Brick album, it was also recorded very quickly with his live band by Malcolm Burn. This was the sound of a man back in the groove, creating some of the best tracks of his solo career. Removing all of the "studio" sounds from his previous long player, they captured the live essence of the former Stooges performer in full flight, singing about the decline of modern America.. Featuring a cracking reworking of "Louie Louie", "Plastic And Concrete", "Wild America" and "Sickness."
