(Charisma Virgin - CASCDR1094) Second album from Lindisfarne offshoot which actually possessed its own unique style,and was grounded far more in the 'tradition' than the 'Farne ever were. This album, which featured Phil Murray and Walter Fairburn in place of the outgoing Rod Clements, includes 'Oakey Strike Evictions' and 'Peggy Overseas With A Sailor', and has been remastered with two bonus tracks added. Warm, enjoyable and soulful folk-rock.

Jack The Lad - Rough Diamonds. CD. (Charisma Virgin - CASCDR1110) Third album (1975) from original Lindisfarne members Ray Laidlaw and Simon Cowe and their cohorts, which now also included their old collegaue Ray Jackson on harmonica, alongside Billy Mitchell, Phil Murray and Walter Fairburn and noted accordionist John Kirkpatrick, who also played in both Fairport and Steeleye. Includes 'Rocking Chair' and 'The Ballad Of Winston O Flaherty', and is produced by Simon Nicol. A lot of fun.

Jack The Lad - It's Jack The Lad. CD. (Charisma Virgin - CASCDR1085) First album from Lindisfarne offshoot band, finally reissued on CD. Lineup features Rod Clements, Simon Cowe, Ray Laidlaw and Billy Mitchell (no, not that bloke from East Enders): guests include Tommy Eyre and Maddy Prior. This edition includes three bonus tracks not on the original album, one of which was not on the first CD issue and has never been released until now.
