This first covers his late 50s-early 60s rock and roll/doo wop period ('Reet Petite' 'Lonely Teardrops' etc) and also features many album tracks (yes, people then did record albums!!) of note from the same era. The notes come, as usual, from genre expert Tony Rounce, and four of the forty tracks have never appeared on CD before. Worth having.
