Josefus - 2nd & Dead Man. CD. (Red Fox Records - RF 608) The Dead Man album plus the second album (that came out on mainstream in 1970) by the American hard rock merchants. Two of the greatest US heavy psych albums ever made from the band who could be called the original US stoner-rockers. Dirty heavy and raw with trippy lead guitar breaks....The title track of Dead Man is over 17 minutes long! Note the CD incorrectly calls the second album the 1st.

Josefus - Dead Box. 3-CD Box Set. (Akarma - AK235/3) Brilliant box set by the legendary Texan heavy psych band. It features the essential Deadman album (1969), plus the bands second album "Josefus" (1970) and a whole CD of previously unreleased gems including pre-Josefus demos and live material! The booklet features the complete Josefus discography, extensive biographical notes and previously unseen photos of the band. Josefus made a stoned, fluid and satisfyingly heavy acid rock sound with laid back yet intense vocals and killer Texan acid psych guitar work. All albums housed in mini card gatefold sleeves. Note this box set does not include the alternate Deadman album "Get Of My Case" which is only available on the Sundazed release.

Josefus - Dead Man / Get Off My Case. CD. (Sundazed - SC 11066) For the first time, both versions of the classic heavy Texas psych album from 1969 (the unreleased version is only available here) Josefus were the great granddaddies of stoner rock and their awesome debut album features the lengthy title track and is twinned with the alternate original mix that some regard as superior. Both versions are loaded with doped-out, wah-wah guitar solos, laid back yet intense vocals and a real revolutionary attitude. Classic late '60's Texan acid rock. Note that this includes material not in the box set.

Josefus - Dead Man Alive. CD. (Hookah - MVT 15023) A collection of never released tracks recorded between 1967 and 1979 by the legendary '60's/70's Texas heavy psych band. The first three tracks were recorded under the name United Gas and feature psychy wah-wah guitars. The next four are from the original Josefus, recorded live (including a 26 minute version of the classic "Dead Man"). The final three songs are taken from their 1978/79 reunion with Stone Axe drummer Jerry Ontiberoz. An essential purchase for fans of Heavy Psych and Stoner/Heavy rock - this is where it all started!

Josefus - Get Off My Case. CD. Original recordings from 1969 of this Houston based psychedelic wasted hard rock combo who later made a big impression with their album "Dead Man". This CD includes earlier versions of many of the songs that would later appear on that album, including the epic 17 minute title track with blistering guitar. The original stoner rockers? Josefus - Light In Heaven. LP. (FC - FANCLUB1010) A limited edition LP pressed on coloured vinyl (orange marble) by this great Texan outfit who bridged late '60s psych/ hard rock with killer early '70s heavy rock. This album features some great '60's psych by a pre Josefus band called Rip West (recorded for a 7") the first sessions performed as United Gas and an incredible 26 minute live version of "Dead Man" plus more.The live tracks have never been released on vinyl. Compiled by fans for fans and 32 bit remastered. Very, very limited.

Josefus - Live Halloween 2004. CDR. A live CDR of Josefus from their last performance on Halloween night of 2004. Fantastic versions of tracks like "Cosmic Man", "On Account of You", "Gamblin" an explosive 16 minute "Dead Man" and more. This is a very limited edition of 250 numbered copies only worldwide.

Josefus - Son Of Dead Man. LP. We have a few copies of the rare reunion album by this legendary late '60's Texan heavy psych band.
