Kaleidoscope (USA) - Bernice. CD. (EDSEL RECORDS - EDCD 534) The final album by the legendary US Middle Eastern tinged psych band. This 1970 offering was a fine swansong for a band who mixed socio-political opinions and Eastern influenced psychedelic rock music. Country leanings on this one too, and a slightly more laidback affair than previously.

Kaleidoscope (USA) - Bernice. LP. (Epic - 26508) The final album by the legendary US Middle Eastern tinged psych band and one that is totally underrated. This 1970 offering was a fine swansong for a band who mixed socio-political opinions and Eastern influenced psychedelic rock music. Country leanings on this album offer a slightly more laidback affair than previously but tracks like "To Know Is Not To Be" offer the same weird psychedelia that the band are loved for.

Kaleidoscope (USA) - Egyptian Candy. CD. (Epic/Legacy - EK 47723) Hard to find US compilation of one of the greatest US '60's psych bands. Kaleidoscope blended middle eastern exotica with acid folk rock to create one of the most distinctive sound of the era. This compilation features tracks from all their albums but more importantly contains three previouly unrelesed tracks "Love Games" "Egyptian Candy" and "Sefan". Comes complete with a detailed booklet.

Kaleidoscope (USA) - Pulsating Dream. 3-CD. (Acadia - ACAD8059) This ultimate CD set contains the Epic recordings from 1967 to 1970 including all four Epic studio albumsl. With the multi-instrumental wizardry of David Lindley leading the way, Kaleidoscope weaved dreamy, middle eastern exotica into psychedelic rock songs better than anybody before or since. This 3-CD set contains all their Epic recordings, including the four albums'Side Trips', 'Beacon from Mars',' Incredible Kaleidoscope' and 'Bernice' (the only place you will find this gem on CD) plus a bunch of hard-to-find singles, B-sides and rarities. 45 brain melting tracks in total. Wow what more could a music lover want?

Mixing Middle Eastern instrumentation with electric West Coast psychedelia and incorporating a wide range of influences and instruments from banjo to dulcimer via bazouki and mandolin, this album is a US '60s masterpiece that still sounds brilliant today.

Kaleidoscope (USA) - When Scopes Collide. CD. Long out of print album and almost impossible to find on vinyl.This is a reunion album that was put together six years after the demise of the group in 1976. With a brilliantly eclectic 12 track selection, this is highly recommended for novice and the completist alike and musically delivers the bands sound intact.

Kaleidoscope (USA) - Incredible/Bernice. CD. Don't believe the books.... "Bernice" is a great album! This classic Middle Eastern flavoured US '60s psych band made four magical albums and this CD has number three and four plus some rare single tracks. Ace from start to finish...
