Kalevala - Anthology. CD.

Official release of Finlands 70's legends Kalevala, replacing the 'Live in Europe' CD, which is now deleted. This official issue double CD with all of 'Live in Europe' on disc 1, recorded between 1970 and 1977. Disc 2 has all of the band's 3rd album 'Abrahams Boue Refrain' remastered plus 5 unreleased tracks. The band perform long jamming tracks with a West Coast feel and progressive flourishes. Also included is a great 20 page booklet packed with photos and liner notes.

Legendary Finnish prog band recorded live in the 70's. Outstanding live material taken from classic albums such as 'People No Names' all the way to the last self titled album from 1977.Numbered copy of a limited run of 300 only.

Two fine Finnish albums from the early Seventies. Alternatively trippy and progressive, the addition of various guest members of Wigwam help to thicken the musical stew and both albums will appeal to fans of Wig Wam and Tasavallan Presidenti. Great guitar and keyboard work throughout...
