Keith Richards - Main Offender. CD. (Virgin Records - CDVUS59) Second solo album by a man who according to medical science, shouldn't still be alive. First released in 1992, Richards focuses himself well here on these blues /soul / rock track, it always sounds like a release for him to be away from the Stones and to be able to do whatever he wants on record. The joy is clear in his sometimes velvetty, sometimes croaky vocal performance. His vivid lyrics help the listener to place temselves in a smoky bar watching him on stage or eves dropping into a relationship that's breaking down. A great effort.
