Kim Fowley - Animal God Of The Streets. LP.

180 gram version of this 1975 album from one of LA counter-cultures favourite sons which included a collection of material Kim recorded over the period 1969-1971(there are 9 songs) All are originals except for one, which is a Link Wray cover ("Rumble"). All these tracks had hit the cutting room floor or were too off the wall to be included on the albums he was recording at said times.

Kim Fowley - Born To Be Wild. CD. (Ascension Records - ANCD015)

Kim oozes bad boy biker menace on this 1968 collection of largely bizarre cover versions including the title track, "Hello, I Love You", "Classical Gas", "Soul Limbo" and even "Pictures Of Matchstick Men". Weird and wacky. As usual by Mr Fowley it's got a creepy underlying current and a fab chick cover to boot!

Kim Fowley - Day The Earth Stood Still. CD. (Spalax - 14260)

Apparently recorded in Sweden in 1970, this is one of Fowley's rarest LPs, and along with "Outrageous" one of his best. A multi-talented genius, this album explores the effects of war, with acerbic observations evident on tracks like "I Was A Communist For The FBI", "Is America Dead?", "The Man Without A Country" and "The Day The Earth Stood Still". An anti-war masterpiece.
