Klaus Schulze - Audentity. Dble CD. (Revisited Records - SPV089304132)

Double concept piece from the man thought of as the 'Godfather of Techno' (although we at Freak Emporium feel this is a debasement somewhat of the man's immense talent) Originally released in 1983 in two different versions depending on what side of the pond one dwelt, we are now proud to present the full album PLUS bonus tracks, in a repackaged 3 fold digi sleeve with new notes and booklet. Contains the fabulous 21 minute 'Spielglocken'.

Klaus Schulze - Cyborg. Dble CD. (SPV - SPV305252)

This two disc four track set from 1973 is rightfully regarded amongst fans as one of Schulze's masterworks. The Cosmic Orchestra back him up, but it's mostly the man and his keyboards, playing the whole spectrum of electronic bravura. You either know this sort of thing or you don't. If you do you already know how good this sounds, if not you have a treat in store.

Klaus Schulze - Dune. CD. (Revisited Records - SPV085304122)

Another potential soundtrack, but amazingly turned down in favour of one by Toto (!) this album nevertheless was inspired by Frank Herbert's sci fi epic and went on to become one of Schulze's most popular releases, not least of all for the 26-minute track 'Shadows Of Ignorance' featuring the chant-like vocal of Arthur Brown and the cello of Wolfgang Tiepold. All of Schulze's music is seminal in the electronic field: this album excels even that and almost reaches a par with the best modern German classical music, which is surely how we will remember the artist in centuries to come. Repackaged in a 3 fold silver digi with a 23 minute bonus track, liner notes and booklet.

Klaus Schulze - En=Trance. CD. (Revisited/SPV - SPV085304092)

Schulze's career in the 80s was full of high points, not least of all this period in which he presaged the New Age music to come in the ensuing decade. Released originally in 1988 on double vinyl, the album has now been compiled onto a single CD plus an extra 8-minute track never before released!! The 16 page booklet includes , full liner notes and extensive photos. Housed in a 3 fold digi pack this is another welcome addition to the collection.

Klaus Schulze - In Blue. 3-CD. (Revisited/SPV - SPV089304102)

Originally released in 1995 as a double CD, now a triple disc set (including a bonus disc of 53 minutes length) in the new expanded format!! The booklet, which as usual features new liner notes and photos, is also enhanced. In this period (surprisingly for such a truly progressive musician) Schulze reverted to his earlier, more traditional sound- much to the delight of older fans. Another fascinating chapter in German music history.Housed in a thick fold out digi pack.

This version comes with an additional 16 minute bonus track "The Ion Perspective" recorded by Schultze in early 2004 for use on a promotional CD. It was released during the 2004 Frankfurt music fair in an edition of 300 copies only. Klaus Schulze - Miditerrenean Pads. CD. (Revisited Records - SPV085304142)

Originally released 1990, this album, as the title suggests, shows Schulze in a slightly 'latin' mood, but the 'pads' referred to are those that emit the tight rhythms that form the backbone of the album. Schulze had never been quite this percussive before, nor had he let soprano sax and piano take precedence over electronics in this way before, but whikst the album may come as a surprise even to hardened Schulze-heads, repeated listens prove very rewarding indeed. Repackaged in a fabulous 3 fold digi pack with new liner notes.

Klaus Schulze - Moondawn. CD. (Revisited Records - SPV304802)

Long overdue reissue of classic album from German electronics meister, featuring two of his best known mood pieces 'Floating' and 'Mindphaser', both in excess of 20 minutes in length. This is the album most popular with 90s electronica and ambient musicians, as well as rave and trance DJs- an album that almost crystallises the very essence of Berlin electronic music.

Klaus Schulze - Are You Sequenced?. Dble CD. (Revisited Records - SPV304982)

Originally released in 1996, 'Are You Sequenced' was recorded live at Derby Assembly Rooms and was edited and remixed by the man himself that year. The bonus rack 'Wat Was Dat?' was recorded in 1993 and is made available for the very first time here. With this album, analog synth meets the 90s' burgeoning technology with burgeoning success. The listener can appreciate the glory of so many beautiful analog sounds, put together with 90s equipment, and played with typical Schulze flair. All eleven tracks play as one continuous piece of music.

Klaus Schulze - Irrlicht (Quadrophonische Symphonie Fur Orchester Und E-Masc. CD. (Revisited Records - SPV304962)

Originally released in 1972, not long after Klaus' departure form Tangerine Dream, this was actually his first official solo release and although already pursuing the cosmic, ambient bent that would become his forte, the recording features as much organ and mellotron asit does synthesiser. Spare, minimalist, efficient and abstract, yet beautiful and soothing, 'Irrlicht' takes the listener into a rhythmless, swirling spiral of distorted gloom that is nevertheless highly addictive to the ear. A Kraut klassik.

Klaus Schulze - The Crime Of Suspense. CD. (Revisited Records - SPV304992)

Originally released in 2000, 'The Crime Of Suspense' is the second of 10 CDs, deleted for some time, that reperesnt some of the high points of this great electronic pioneer's catalogue. 'Good Old Four On The Floor' sees Klaus moving towards trance (a genre he practically invented anyway), something refined on the half-hour long 'Overchill' (nice pun) which features Australian singer Julia Messnger. Includes two previously unreleased bonus tracks.

Klaus Schulze - Trancefer. CD. (Revisited Records - SPV305502)

Digi pack version of this cold 1981 classic. Typically of the former Tangerine Dream / Ash Ra Tempel member, this 2000 release is a synthesized soundscape of deligh which embraces live classical instruments. Klaus Schulze - Blackdance. CD. (Revisited Records - SPV78802)

Recorded in Berlin and first released in 1974, this early Klaus album finds the keyboard maestro growing quickly in sophistication as a player and his understanding of electronics themselves. This was a notable departure in his sound up to this point with baroque touches adding to the eerie mix. He really was one of the few musicians of the era who could get a soulful recording out of the early synths he was working with. The only other muscican present on the three tracks is Ernst Sieman who contributes vocals to "Voices Of Syn" and bass throughout. This digi re-release features two bonus tracks: the 10 minute "Foreplay" and the 14 minutes "Sunthies Have No Balls."

Klaus Schulze - Kontinuum. CD. (SPV - SPV49392)

The long awaited studio album by the German electronics meister, a man who revolutionised the genre and a living legend. Made up of only three tracks, this is classic Schulze. Effectively it is a three movement piece that highlights the progression of the genre and his own musical style, charting the past "Sequenzer (from 70 to 7)", the present day "Euro Caravan" and into the future with the thirty minute "Thor (Thunder)." Housed in a high class digi pack.

Klaus Schulze - Live. CD. (SPV - SPV 78832)

Live performance by the great electronica maestro, his twelth solo album. Featured are performances from the mid to late '70's in Europe. Included is a bonus track "Le Mans au premier" taken from a concert at the Abbey L'Epeau near Le Mans in France on November 10th 1979.

Klaus Schulze - Trance Appeal. CD. (SPV - SPV78822)

1996 album, originally released under the ‘Klaus Schulze’s Wahnfried’ project name and quite possibly the best of the series. Although still in the style of classic Schulze, it is very much a collaborative effort. The tracks are notably much shorter compositions than you would expect from Klaus, the number of songs on this album reaching double figures when most of us would expect no more than four. Includes the bonus track "Marooned."
