Kubero Diaz - Y La Pesada. CD. (Music Hall - MH 2 404) CD reissue of the 1973 solo album by the gifted guitarist of Argentinian band, La Cofradia de La Flor Solar. As expected, it's full of ripping wah-wah guitar but there's also some electric violin work and appearances by Argentinian legends such as Billy Bond and Claudio Gabis. Other members of La Cofradia also help out, and the album has a really psychotic heavy grunge sound in places. The sleeve art is awesome, featuring a beautiful psych painting in the booklet and a twisted shot of Kubero painted silver on the cover. This CD issue includes three bonus tracks by La Cofradia de la flor Solar, the last one from 1972 and previously unreleased on CD.
