LA Guns - American Hardcore. CD. (Sanctuary Records - SANCD016) Mid- late 90s release from popular sleaze metallers, this time in a lineup fronted by guitarist Tracii Guns himself, vocalist Phil Lewis being somewhat absent at the time. Full of stomping tunes, but as the title suggets, very much an album of its time, from the heavier end of the band's spectrum- Guns overthrowing the band's glammier roots for a more Social Distortion/Black Flag punk edge. It didn't last long of course, and Lewis was soon back in the fold, but this is a fascinating document of what might have been, and what for five minutes was.

LA Guns - Very Best Of.... CD. (Zebra - CDMZEB13) Formed in 1987 by former Guns'n' Roses member Tracil Guns and Girl/Torme vocalist Phil Lewis, the quintessential Englishman abroad, the LA Guns rocked the glam metal scene for nearly a decade. The album also features two bonus tracks of remixes by Julian Beeston and Intra-Venus.
