Lords - Ulleogamaxbe. CD. (Repertoire Records - RR 4536)

1969 album from this German bunch who recorded pop songs in English. Despite this, they were highly popular in their own country and this collection of self-written tunes could well have rivalled The Hollies or Moody Blues for tuneful harmonious power pop. There's a few interesting psychedelic effects in evidence here too. Bargain Price!

Lords - Singles, Hits & Raritaten. CD. (Bear Family - BCD 16452 AR)

Twenty nine track compilation of the Lords best sixties output. 80 minutes of beat/garage presented in a digi pack. Only one CD available, quite literally first come, first served! Despite this German groups tendency to sing in English, they were highly popular in their own country and this collection of self-written tunes could well have rivalled The Hollies or Moody Blues for tuneful harmonious power pop (with the occasional touch of psychedelia.) Includes: "Tobacco Road", "Poison Ivy", "Manchester England" and "Five Or Six" (Pepsi Commercial)
