Live album from Lou Reed recorded in Hempstead, NY after Xmas 1972 (just after he left the Velvets). Includes many VU tunes ("White Light White Heat", "Sweet Jane") plus songs that would eventually become solo classics ("Walk On The Wild Side", "Vicious") as well as an interview with the man himself.

Following the international success of "Transformer" Lou turned out this much darker album. Features the classic songs 'Caroline Says', 'The Bed' (maybe the saddest song ever written?) 'Men Of Good Fortune' 'The Kids' 'Sad Song' and 'Lady Day'. The album contains a full lyric insert sheet and is now pressed on 180 gram vinyl.
