MacMurrough - Merry And Fine. CD. (Kissing Spell - KSCD945)

Mary Kavanagh and Paul Kavanagh (Josephine O’Neill had left by this point) released this album on a limited run of 500 copies at the start of 1978. Songs from the Irish, English, Scottish and Breton folk repertoires appear here. Their third release carefully blends together the enthusiasm of their debut and the sophistication of the self titled follow up. One of the lesser known groups of the Irish Acid folk, their relases were always consistently good and blended the ancient with the contemporary.
