Marmalade - Love Songs. CD. (Castle - CMRCD851)

German-compiled anthology of the more 'romantic' and 'pop' end of this misunderstood Scottish band's work, with songs stretching from their bubblegum beginnings in 1966 through their serious rock period in the early 70s to their late 70s/early 80s soft-rock axis. Includes 'Reflections Of My Life' 'Lovin Things' 'Wait For Me Mary Anne' 'Falling Apart At The Seams' and many others. Does the business, but only as a great bubblegum pop compilation. Fans of their more 'head' oriented material are advised to seek out 'Rainbows' and 'Kaleidoscope'.
