More in the garage psych style but still with that dark and heavy edge, this great little CD includes a take on the Third Bardo classic "Five Year's Ahead Of My Time" as well as weird originals such as war Hippie and "Atom Age Vampire" Get it while you can!

From "Tractor" to "Dopes To Infinity" through to"Melt" this CD defines 'Stoner Rock' and shows this band really did inherit Black Sabbath's strung out legacy.The second disc has rare B-sides and video's for your PC including the explicit version of "Heads Explode" alongside 7 others. Much more commercial but with an experimental edge it features over sixty minutes of blazing psychedelic barnstormers including "Melt", "Heads Explode" and the downright freaky "Cry". Includes one bonus track "Silver Future".

Monster Magnet - 25 .......Tab. CD. (Glitterhouse Records - GRCD 158) 1993 recordings by the kings of Stoner Rock. This five tracker opens with the 30 minute monolith that is "Tab". Gut-wrenching riffs in and a swirling vortex of freaked out acid weirdness loaded with wailing guitar mayhem. Also includes the track "Longhair" as covered by Delerium's own Saddar Bazaar.

Monster Magnet - Tab. CD. (SPV - SPV99652) About bloody time too!! Wyndorf and Co's first slice of prime fuzzadelic stoner sludge space metaaal, recorded at the same time as their debut full-length mantelpiece 'Spine Of God' (although this so-called EP is actually just as long). Although little more than a series of extended space jams (like that ever stopped the first four Hawkwind albums from being good) smeared in layers of fuzz guitar and flanged vocal, the album nevertheless dispays the roots of everything that would help the Magnet flower into one of the 90s and 00s premier hard rock acts. It WAS a Satanic drug thing, and quite clearly, 'they' didn't understand. Includes one previously unreleased bonus track.

Monster Magnet - Spine Of God. CD. (SPV - SPV99642) Very early (1991) album from the stoner rockers. Obviously influenced by Sabbath and Grand Funk, this slice of psyched up heavy rock is packed with skull splitting power chords and some sinuous lead guitar solos. At times it breaks into drifting, spaced territory. Some say this is the bands best and most psychedelic album.Now this re-issue with expanded booklet contains a bonus cut of the title track in demo form

Monster Magnet - 4 Way Diablo. CD. (SPV / Steamhammer - SPV98372) The return of the kings of Stoner Rock. Main songwriter Dave Wyndorf describes the record as the "least planned and programmed recording" he has been involved in. There is a thrashy psycho garage sound to this haunting album, recorded largely live by matt Hyde.
