They visited some of the world’s most fascinating cultures, experiencing their lifestyles, food art and music. The sounds they brought back were woven into the series by eight composers to relate a backdrop for the series. From the Miao women of South West China to the Berbers of West Africa, special performances from a multiplicity of cultures flavoured the series soundtrack to create music that is, itself, a journey around the Lonely Planet.
