Originally released in 1993, the album features 14 live tracks spanning all their studio albums and 2 bonus tracks: the previously unreleashed demo versions of 'Humanesque' and 'Pastoral Hide And Seek'. Booklet includes a page from Jeffrey's currently unavailable autobiography "Go Tell Me A Mountain" talking about his time in the UK, a discography of the band's recording career and relfections by Jeffrey's sister Jacqui. Ramones - It's Alive 1974-1996. dbl DVD. (Label: Warner Vision / Cinram, Cat.No: 0349704832) This double DVD spectacular features over four hours of rare and previously unreleased concert footage from around the world. Fans will be reassured to know that a large chunk of the footage is from the 70s and early 80s and the whole project was overseen by Tommy Ramone. Includes performances from CBGB's, Liberty Hall in Houston, The Rainbow Theatre in London (the entire "It's Alive gig"), The Old Grey Whistle Test , Milan, San Francisco Civic Center, Buenos Aires, Top of the Pops, Madird, Stockholm and many other locations. Bonus material includes interviews with Dee Dee and Joey, rare promos and more live stuff. With over 100 tracks, this really is the last word in live Ramones.	S*M*A*S*H - Icon. CD. (Label: MLP, Cat.No: HYPER-01) SMASH were formed in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire in the early 1990’s. Comprising: Ed Borrie (vocals, guitar) Salvador (salv) Alessi (bass) Rob Haigh (drums) and influenced by Punk, West Coast rock & the Velvet Underground, the band made an immediate impact with their first single ‘Real Surreal’ before they appeared on Top Of The Pops with the next release, a NME/Melody Maker single of the Week ‘Shame’. Their live gigs were well received by the musical press and & the NME dubbed them the Stone Roses on PCP. Their punky, aggressive rock ‘n’ roll brought admirers included Billy Bragg and Joe Strummer of The Clash. They signed to Virgin label-High Rise in 1994 for the album ‘Self Abused ‘ and a later semi-live Ep ‘they went on a US tour where US grunge label, Sub Pop released a one-off single ‘Barrabas before their final single ‘Rest Of My Life’ in 1997. Since 1997, the band remained in contact and three years ago started rehearsing again and playing some low key gigs. Gentleman's Pistols - Gentleman's Pistols. CD. (Label: Rise Above Records, Cat.No: RISECD098) Before even releasing an album and with just a handful of 7" only vinyl releases, the Gentleman's Pistols have already gained themselves a legendary cult status amongst the modern punk scene. These guys have been demolishing the toilets up and down the UK ever since their formation in 2003. Their ten track debut deals with only the most important of issues that effect the modern day man, self-love, dogging, smack addiction and heavy petting (in the Zoo). No political punk will be found here, this is no frills, downright dirty, greasy Rock & Roll from a highly entertaining Leeds based four piece.	Saints - Imperious Delirium. CD. (Label: Wildflower, Cat.No: 1314) Though vocalistChris Bailey is the only original member of the pioneering Australian punk rock combo performing here, the Saints' original 1970s-style full-throttle guitar attack is in full effect throughout this raw-sounding set of garage punk from 2006. Tracks such as the primal-sounding "Enough Is Never Enough" and the warped pop of "Trocadero" conjure the band's glory days without betraying any hint of nostalgia.
Howard Devoto - Jerky Versions Of The Dream. CD. (Label: Virgin America, Cat.No: CDVR 2272) Howard Devoto was on the cutting edge of British post-punk rock during the late '70s and '80s. A founding member of new wave/pop band Buzzcocks, Devoto went on to form similar-minded bands Magazine and Luxuria. "Jerky Versions Of The Dream", his debut solo album, was released in July 1983. Recorded with ex-Magazine members Dave Formula and Barry Adamson, it was a pop album - of sorts. On the surface the melodies were upbeat and the music funky, but Devoto was searching, inward looking, sloughing off the past. Now digitally remastered, it includes tracks from the original 7" of 'Rainy Season', an extended version of 'Cold Imagination' and three Peel Session tracks.	Social Distortion - Greatest Hits. CD. Glaxo Babies - Porlock Factor. CD. (Label: Cherry Red, Cat.No: CDMRED 322) After only eighteen months together, this group that were born out of the thriving Bristol punk scene in 1979 still managed to have an indie chart hit with their "This Is Your Life" EP, attract much love and respect from John Peel, tour on his legendary road show and be banned by the BBC. A highly influential act with a sense of unfinished business, the nucleus of the original band returned in 1985. These eighteen tracks are the resultive recordings. It's a mixture of melodic psychedelic pop and warped funk that sounds fresher that somehow sounds fresher now than it did in the1980's.	Men They Couldn't Hang - Never Born To Follow. DVD. (Label: Cherry Red DVDs, Cat.No: CRDVD 158) One of the best-known names of the 80s folk-punk boom, this is a twenty track live show from their 1998 tour filmed in Newcastle. Bonus feature: backstage footage featuring soundchecks, studio and backstage rehearsals and more from their 2006 tour. Includes: the independent chart top ten hits "Ironmasters" and "The Green Fields Of France", as well as "The Wonder Of It All" and "Shirt Of Blue."
